If, like me, you're a keen golfer, no matter what level you're at, you will no doubt agree that the most important part of your golfing kit are your golf clubs. Forget all the other accessories and gizmos, without a good set of golf clubs you may as well forget it.

Golfing clubs are basically seperated into the following 2 classes ;

Drivers

Drivers will be the 1st club utilized by a golfer to drive the ball off the tee. Generally, the target is to hit the ball down the green as correctly and as far as is practical. It is nonetheless, imperative that precision isn't sacrificed for force.

The importance of picking the right sized driver can't be understated. The majority will be alright with the standard length driver but if you are too tall or too short then you'll either have to go looking for one directed at shorter or taller folks or pay for one to be specifically made for your height.

Drivers may also be made to help a poor swing. This is acheived by moving the weight of the head of the drivers to compensate for a bad swing.

Drivers are made from materials such as wood and various metals like titanium.

Irons

Irons are used for the shots after the 1st drive of the tee. As with drivers, it is of vital significance for the shaft of the iron to be in proportion with the height of the golfer.

Usually there are eight clubs in a group of irons. The lower the number, the further the ball will travel. As you go through the scale, the angle of the head changes. The higher the number of the iron, the closer it gets to 90 degrees in relation to the ground.

Irons are typically made from graphite or steel and are usually either forged or cast.

Whichever kind of clubs you use, it is going to be smart to acknowledge that a good set of clubs can truly enhance your golfing playing capabilities.
