What's a good golf club for me?

I'm looking for a SET of good golf clubs. I'm a beginner so I don't want them to be too expensive, but I also want them to be sturdy. If it matters, I'm 15, 5' 5", and my wrist to ground height is somewhere between 31 and 32 inches. I would prefer if a bag was included but if it's separate and cheap that would be fine too.

First thing I would do, find a Pro Shop somewhere and see if someone there will advise you. Swing some clubs and see what works best for you. They might have a line on some used clubs that are in your price range.

From the measurements you have given sounds like you would use the same alterations from standard that I have.
-1/2" from standard in length and 1-2 degrees flat lie angle, but you should get a pro to tell you for sure. I currently play Ping G2 Orange Dot so if you can find a used set of those they should do nicely.

However, since you are young and will probably grow a bit in the very near future "standard" may be where you want to start. This is why I suggest asking advice of a pro fitter. I would also look on e-bay. Look for a cavity back style club w/regular flex shafts.
There are also many places that make what's called "clones." Supposedly they are just like the original but at a much lower price. I don't necessarily believe they are as good as the brand names but it will be a matched set fit to you and probably a pretty good set too. You can search them out on the internet.
If your budget is really tight, do your research on what you need, then start making garage sales and see if you can piece together a set that way. And start making friends at the golf course, who knows there may be a guy there that makes his own clubs and can alter whatever you find to fit you better. Or maybe he knows someone who's looking to buy a new set and will give you a good deal on their old set.

There are lots of ways to get started just be sure at some point you take some lessons before you develop too many bad habits.
